Job Description:

We're seeking a dedicated PICU Registered Nurse to join our team in Anchorage, Alaska! Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be to provide exceptional care to pediatric patients in a vibrant and dynamic setting. This contract role offers the unique opportunity to work night shifts, navigating the challenges of a 12-hour schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM.

As a travel healthcare professional, you will be immersed in a rich cultural environment while caring for our pediatric population. The Alaska Native Medical Center, a Magnet Facility, is committed to fostering an inclusive atmosphere, and you'll work with a team that understands the importance of cultural sensitivity. The facility features ratios that ensure you're able to deliver focused care, whether managing a ventilated patient one-on-one or providing support to a team member as they transition into your unit.

You'll need to come equipped with your Alaska nursing license or, at least, apply for the AK license post-signing. The facility provides structured support for travelers, ensuring that while you may be the new kid on the block, you won't feel out of your element!
