Job Description:

Join a dedicated ICU team at TriStar StoneCrest in Smyrna, TN, for a 13-week travel healthcare contract. This role involves managing critically ill patients in a 16-bed unit equipped with advanced monitoring systems like GE Monitors and Pyxis med dispense. You’ll be performing procedures such as trach placements, bronchoscopy, and cardioversion, while utilizing your expertise in ventilator and sedation management, as well as medication titration. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule, and you'll be floating in rotation with full-time staff and other travelers. Expect a focus on patient communication, including AIDET principles, medication teaching, and completion of communication boards. Your positive attitude and teamwork skills will help foster a collaborative environment in this fast-paced, technologically equipped setting.
