Job Description:

Join a treasured team as a Step Down Registered Nurse specializing in cardiac post-op care. You will work on a 36-bed unit dedicated to managing pre and post-operative cardiac patients, including those recovering from CABG, valve surgeries, and thoracotomies. Your responsibilities will include monitoring advanced cardiac patients with continuous telemetry, interpreting EKG strips, and administering cardiac drips. Experience with EPIC electronic medical records and familiarity with patient ratios of 1:4-6 will ensure smooth sailing in this role. Expect to float to support high-risk respiratory units or COVID care, with the flexibility to support various campuses nearby. This contract requires quick thinking, a passion for cardiac recovery, and a knack for teamwork, all while working four nights a week in a bustling cardiac unit.
