Job Description:

Join a vibrant inpatient psychiatric unit at the Anschutz Medical Campus as a Psych ER RN. This 12-week travel assignment offers nights filled with engaging patient interactions in a fast-paced environment. Expect to manage complex cases, collaborate with a dedicated team, and sharpen your psychiatric nursing skills while working a 12-hour overnight shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. The role includes every third weekend on Friday and Saturday nights, with no on-call duties. This setting is perfect for nurses who thrive in a dynamic psychiatric emergency context and are prepared to float within the inpatient psychiatric unit as needed, within a 35-mile radius. A BSN is preferred, with at least two years of psychiatric and pediatric experience, and current RN licensure. BLS certification is required. This is an excellent opportunity for seasoned psych nurses seeking a rewarding and varied experience away from the typical hospital floors.
