Job Description:

Join our team for a travel RN contract at a reputable hospital in Lewiston, ME, working on a dedicated Orthopedic Trauma unit. This role offers a unique chance to provide skilled care for adult and geriatric patients recovering from surgeries like hip and knee replacements, spine procedures, and trauma surgeries. You will oversee high-volume discharges and admissions, manage common medications including hydromorphone PCA and epidurals, and interpret dysrhythmias for telemetry patients. This assignment is well-suited for experienced RNs comfortable with fast-paced shifts and float requirements across sister units. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts, gaining hands-on experience in a vibrant community surrounded by outdoor adventures and cultural activities.
