Job Description:

This RN role at a busy MedSurg and Telemetry unit offers a chance to work primarily during 12-hour night shifts in a well-equipped hospital located in Albemarle, North Carolina. You'll be managing patients with conditions such as stroke, COPD, chest pain, altered mental status, and GI bleed. Expect to perform a variety of skilled tasks including stroke assessments, chest tube management, PIV starts, trach care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, NGT placement, and medication drip management. While the unit maintains a typical patient load of 5-6, acuity levels can increase ratios to 7-8 during surge staffing. This assignment provides a hands-on opportunity to utilize your clinical expertise in a supportive environment with a positive, team-oriented culture. The facility values professionalism and flexibility, including floating to neighboring facilities within the region as needed.
