Job Description:

This contract position as a PCU Registered Nurse offers the opportunity to work 12-hour night shifts in a stepdown ICU-like setting. You'll be responsible for managing patients with complex conditions, including respiratory distress, unstable hemodynamics, and post-op recovery from various surgeries. The role involves advanced skills like titrating vasoactive drips, managing arterial lines, and interpreting dysrhythmias. It’s a fast-paced environment where precision and quick thinking are essential. The assignment is unique in that it closely resembles ICU work, requiring strong proficiency in critical procedures and equipment, all while working alongside a dedicated team. The shift runs from evening to early morning, with floating required to a sister ICU unit during your employment.
