Job Description:
Join a busy medical/surgical unit that primarily manages patients awaiting discharge from the emergency room, prior to being assigned to their specific inpatient unit. As a travel healthcare professional, you will perform initial admissions, provide patient care, and support a team in a 15-bed unit equipped with Epic, Zebra phones, Omnicell medication systems, and Aleris IV pumps. This role offers the chance to work in a Level 1 trauma hospital, handling general medical/surgical patients in a fast-paced environment, ensuring seamless patient flow and safety. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining efficient operations and delivering quality care during 12-hour rotating shifts.
