Job Description:
This RN contract on the 4th Floor North & South of the Medical Telemetry and Orthopedic unit offers a hands-on experience managing a variety of adult patient populations. You will be working with patients recovering from joint replacements, fractures, or dealing with conditions like COPD exacerbations, sepsis, and pneumonia. The role requires proficiency in titrating drips such as Heparin, Lidocaine, and Ketamine, as well as operating PCA pumps. Expect to be part of a lively environment with frequent admissions and discharges, where excellent organizational skills and teamwork are key. The unit emphasizes hourly rounding and responsiveness, so a friendly, compassionate approach with good attendance and adaptability makes for a successful experience. The shifts are 12-hour nights, providing a significant opportunity to focus on patient needs and team collaboration in a setting that values your skills and dedication.
