Job Description:

This contract opportunity places you in the heart of Asheville's vibrant healthcare scene, specifically within the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) at Mission Hospital. You'll work with a dedicated team of Registered Nurses providing critical care to cardiac patients in a 16-bed unit equipped with advanced technology like Vents, Telemetry, Baxter IV Pumps, and Impella devices. Expect to perform complex procedures such as cardioversion, central line insertions, and transvenous pacing while titrating vesicant medications, managing pressors, and interpreting hemodynamics. The shift features 12-hour nights, offering a chance to experience the nocturnal rhythm of the ICU while honing your skills in a fast-paced, technology-rich environment.
