Job Description:

Join a travel assignment as a highly skilled CT/X-ray Tech, where you'll bring your dual modality expertise to the forefront of diagnostic imaging. This role places you at the busy Oakville Health Center and Inova Alexandria Hospital, performing a variety of studies including CT scans of the head, abdomen, pelvis, angiographies, and extremities, along with routine X-ray exams such as chest (port) and other standard procedures. Your strong IV skills will be crucial as you handle a daily caseload ranging from 0 to 15 exams, occasionally reaching up to 22. It's a chance to showcase your technical proficiency in a fast-paced environment that demands accuracy and efficiency. The position offers a blend of hands-on imaging and collaboration within advanced EMR systems like EPIC, PACS, and Visage, utilizing GE CT units and Philips X-ray equipment. The assignment provides an engaging opportunity to work in diverse hospital areas, filling in for open shifts and participating in scheduled holiday coverage, all while following specific orientation protocols and wearing black scrubs.
