Job Description:

Join our team as a travel RN in the busy emergency department of a Level 3 trauma facility in Plattsburgh, NY. This 16-week contract offers 12-hour night shifts, providing a chance to experience the fast-paced environment of an adult and pediatric ER. You will manage a variety of acute cases, respond swiftly to high census demands, and work alongside a dedicated team of ancillary and advanced practice providers. Your expertise will be essential in providing timely care, managing complex patient presentations, and handling boarder patients, psychiatric cases, and COVID-19 patients. The role requires strong skills in IV start, EKG, respiratory treatments, and medication management within EPIC, Pyxis, and Phillips MP40s systems. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to refine your emergency nursing skills in a community setting that values flexibility and resilience.
