Job Description:

This RN or LPN contract offers a focused role within a 50-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital on the east side of Madison, Wisconsin. As part of your daily routine, you will provide specialized nursing care for patients recovering from strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic conditions. Working 12-hour days, you’ll help guide patients through their rehabilitation journeys, which often involve intricate treatments like IV starts, wound care, feeding tube management, and neurological assessments. The setting treats a majority of cases referred from trauma centers, making this an excellent opportunity for those with inpatient rehab or Med Surg experience to showcase their skills. This assignment not only challenges your clinical expertise but also provides a chance to contribute profoundly to patients' recovery goals in a supportive, community-focused environment. Completion bonuses are available if the 13-week contract is fulfilled with satisfactory attendance and a minimum of 13 weeks of Epic experience.
