Job Description:

This contract opportunity is for a highly skilled ICU Registered Nurse to work in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) setting. You will be responsible for managing critically ill patients with complex conditions such as respiratory failure, cardiac issues, and multi-organ failure. The role involves performing advanced procedures like CRRT, A-line, central line, and tracheostomy management, as well as interpreting and responding to cardiac and respiratory emergencies. While the focus is on patient care, your work will also include monitoring ventilated patients, administering specialized medications, and coordinating care across various high-acuity units. The assignment offers a chance to refine critical care skills in a fast-paced environment that keeps you engaged with diverse cases, all while floating across ICU and med-surg units as needed. Expect every other weekend work and night shifts, with the rhythm of the night shift providing a unique perspective on hospital operations during quiet hours.
