Job Description:

This OR Tech / Surgical Tech position offers a chance to work in a Level I trauma center within an acute care hospital setting in Springfield, Illinois. The role involves assisting with a wide variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including General Surgery, Gynecology, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic, Plastic Surgery, Trauma, and Urology. You'll be working 4 days a week with 10-hour evening shifts from 10:45 AM to 9:15 PM. Expect to be involved in procedures such as colonoscopies, appendectomies, craniotomies, and more, utilizing a broad set of surgical skills. This assignment is ideal for experienced techs who thrive in a busy, fast-paced surgical environment where your expertise ensures smooth operating room processes, all while floating within scope as needed.
