Job Description:

This labor and delivery RN role offers an engaging opportunity to work in a Baby Friendly facility where you'll be involved in LDRP with nursery responsibilities. You’ll be crossing trained across labor and delivery, circulator duties, acute care nursery, and OB triage, giving you a versatile experience. Your shifts will be overnight, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with weekend coverage every other week. Expect to use the Omnicell medication system and perform your own hearing screenings. Care specifics include maintaining a 1:1 ratio with labor patients, 1:2 with cytotec inductions, 1:1 with magnesium, and 1:3 with mother-baby couplet care. If a baby needs to be transferred to the nursery, your patient care ratio remains 1:1. This role is ideal for someone with at least 2 years of experience in labor and delivery. Flexibility to float to other units or campuses is required, but only where qualifications and competencies align. The environment promises a rewarding mix of clinical skill and teamwork in a setting that prioritizes both patient safety and professional growth.
