Job Description:

Join Swain County Hospital—an esteemed critical access facility nestled in the scenic Great Smoky Mountains—as a registered nurse on the medical-surgical unit. This contract position offers a unique chance to provide inpatient and observation care for predominantly adult and senior patients, many of whom are 65+. Your shift will be a 12-hour night schedule, allowing for peaceful mornings after your shifts, with the opportunity to experience the tranquility of mountain surroundings. This role emphasizes teamwork, with responsibilities including PICC/CVC management and wound care. You'll work alongside 24-hour provider coverage and access advanced imaging and lab services, all while supporting a tight-knit, community-focused hospital environment that has served the area for decades.
