Job Description:

Step into a vital role as a Respiratory Care Professional where you'll become an indispensable part of the healthcare team during the night shift. In this position, you will actively disassemble, wash, rinse, and package respiratory equipment, ensuring that everything runs smoothly for the next day's use. You’ll evaluate the results of respiratory care delivered according to established care plans, serving as a role model for clinical judgment and technical skills. Your tasks will include preparing and testing respiratory therapy equipment for safe operation, monitoring its performance, and promptly reporting any malfunctions to management.

You'll record accurate assessments on ventilator patients and ensure appropriate documentation in the EMR system, all while providing peace of mind to patients in critical care settings. As part of your routine, you'll engage with patients requiring respiratory therapy in both inpatient and emergency room environments, obtaining and analyzing blood gas results. Your role requires a keen eye for detail to maintain equipment and supply levels effectively.
