Job Description:

Join a vibrant NICU/PEDS Respiratory Therapy team at a leading academic medical center located in Winston-Salem. This 13-week contract offers the chance to work 12-hour night shifts, providing critical support in both neonatal and pediatric units, as well as high-acuity areas like the ICU and medical/surgical floors. You’ll engage with a variety of patient conditions such as post-surgical recovery, pneumonia, COPD, asthma, and emergency cases. Expect to collaborate with experienced lead therapists and utilize advanced equipment like Servo U, Servo Air, and High Flow systems. This role requires at least 2 years of critical care respiratory therapy experience, a North Carolina license, RRT credential, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications. While experience in a Level 1 trauma center is preferred, first-time travelers with strong credentials will also be considered. Be prepared to work approximately 36 hours per week, with every other weekend and 75% of holidays scheduled. No on-call is required, and orientation will include departmental and unit-specific training over 1-2 days.
