Job Description:

Join a dedicated ICU team at a 64-bed hospital in Ellsworth, Maine, where you will be the key player in managing a mixed acuity unit with a focus on critically ill patients. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts, providing care to patients with conditions such as sepsis, PNA, DKA, and CHF, among others. You'll handle ventilator management, IV therapies, wound care, and interpret cardiac and ICU strips, all while supporting a team using Cerner. Expect to float occasionally to Med Surg or ED to lend a hand. This contract offers a chance to sharpen your ICU skills in a diverse case mix, with on-the-job training available for those stepping into charge RN responsibilities for the first time.
