Job Description:

Join the team at a renowned children's hospital as a PICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract. In this role, you'll work on the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, providing advanced care to critically ill young patients. You'll be responsible for managing complex medical equipment such as BIPAP/CPAP, vents, high flow nasal cannula, and trachs, often requiring quick decision-making and precision. The assignment involves night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) on 12-hour schedules, with opportunities to float to other pediatric units and possibly the NICU, depending on hospital needs. This position offers a dynamic environment where your skills are essential to supporting fragile patients and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Experience in cardiac critical care and familiarity with Medtronic pacemakers and telemonitoring are strongly preferred, making this a unique opportunity to deepen your expertise in a specialized setting.
