Job Description:

As a Registered Nurse on the surgical inpatient unit at San Juan Regional Medical Center, you will be integral to caring for post-operative adult patients recovering from orthopedic, neuro, abdominal, and other surgeries. This role involves managing complex cases such as chest tubes, NG tubes, Foley catheters, and respiratory issues, providing pain management, and monitoring for signs of sepsis or altered mental status. Working night shifts, you’ll experience a steady rhythm of admittances and discharges in a facility that proudly serves the Four Corners region's diverse needs. The unit boasts a cozy 24 beds and a patient ratio no higher than 1:6, offering a unique chance to build deep connections with your patients while working within a supportive team environment. This assignment promises a hands-on experience, blending technical skills with compassionate care, all while navigating the beautifully rugged landscape surrounding Farmington, New Mexico.
