Job Description:

Join a busy emergency department in Durham, North Carolina, as an ER Registered Nurse on a contract basis. This role involves providing acute care during 12-hour day shifts, with the opportunity to float to the ED observation unit as needed. You'll be working with a patient ratio of 1:4, delivering critical support in a fast-paced setting without blocked schedule requests. The local environment calls for at least 2 years of experience, with required certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS—CPI certification is preferred but can be completed onsite if needed. Robots (wait, I mean nurses) in their first assignment are welcome, and licensure in North Carolina or a Compact license is essential. The position features bi-weekly orientations, and all staff must have received flu vaccines without exemptions.
