Job Description:

Step into the role of an ER Registered Nurse at Yale New Haven Hospital, where you'll have the opportunity to cross train and float across different Emergency Department areas. This assignment features 12-hour night shifts, offering a chance to experience a fast-paced ER environment that keeps you on your toes. You'll be supporting patient flow during nighttime hours, managing a typical ratio of 1:6, and utilizing your skills in a setting that values flexibility and teamwork. This unique contract allows you to work across multiple campuses, enhancing your experience while maintaining a focus on quality care. Please note, you won't be handling trauma or rescue rooms, triage, or locked behavioral health units—focus is on the core ER functions that make this role engaging and rewarding.
