Job Description:

Join a leading Magnet and Level I Trauma Center in St. Louis as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse. This contract role offers a unique opportunity to work on a specialized ENT and Plastic Surgery unit, handling complex cases such as tracheostomies, total laryngectomies, free flap monitoring, and wound care. You'll be responsible for managing drains, monitoring flaps post-op, administering tube feedings, and overseeing IV and Central Line access—no routine patient care, but critical responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. The shifts are 12 hours overnight, and you'll be providing care to patients with high-acuity needs, including those with cuffed and cuffless tracheostomies, carotid blow-out precautions, and airway management. This assignment is perfect for experienced RN professionals eager to experience an engaging, challenging role in a top-tier hospital setting. Portable skills, flexibility to float within scope, and the ability to work every other weekend are appreciated.
