Job Description:

Join a reputable teaching hospital in Concord, NC, for a 13-week travel assignment as a Progressive Care Unit RN. You’ll be working 12-hour night shifts in a 20-bed unit dedicated to managing complex surgical patients, including HPB cases like Whipples and liver resections, women’s surgery such as hysterectomies and mastectomies, and plastic surgery procedures like DIEP flap reconstructions. This role offers the chance to hone your skills in central line management, drain care, and cardiac rhythm interpretation while supporting a team that values strong collaboration. The unit’s culture emphasizes teamwork, and support staff such as CNAs, charge nurses, and resource mentors are available to assist. Expect to use advanced equipment including EMR, Alaris pumps, and bedside monitors.
