Job Description:

Join us as a Med Surg Float Pool nurse in Philadelphia, where each shift offers a chance to sharpen your skills across a variety of inpatient medical-surgical units. You'll be the adaptable healthcare professional who steps into different environments—from general med-surg floors to step-down units and the emergency department—ensuring patients receive consistent, attentive care. This role requires quick thinking, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work independently. Your expertise will keep operations running smoothly as you float seamlessly between nine med-surg units and five step-down units, gaining exposure to diverse patient needs and unit workflows. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts, providing critical support during overnight hours, with weekends every other week. You'll start with orientation at the main campus before spending a short period at Women and Families, familiarizing yourself with different workflows.
