Job Description:

Join our team as a Stepdown Cardiac Registered Nurse in Columbia, South Carolina, working in a specialized surgical step-down unit that cares for post-op cardiac and vascular surgery patients. Your day will be centered around managing patients recovering from procedures such as carotid endarterectomy, femoral endarterectomy, AAA repairs, and other vascular surgeries. This role offers a chance to work closely with patients in the crucial post-surgical period, handling cases ranging from recent arrivals to those a day or two post-operation. If you have strong cardiac telemetry experience and thrive in environments where your skills make a real difference, this is your opportunity. The shift is a fixed 12-hour day schedule from 07:00 to 19:30, with a 36-hour weekly commitment over a 13-week contract, providing a balanced work-life experience.
