Job Description:

Join a busy and fast-paced medical-surgical unit as a Telemetry Registered Nurse. This role involves caring for orthopedic, spine, general surgery, and bariatric patients, with occasional overflow from medicine areas. You'll be responsible for monitoring cardiac function and oxygen levels, providing both medical and surgical care to post-operative patients, often managing 10-20 post-ops daily. The shift is a night 12-hour schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, offering a unique opportunity to experience the rhythm of overnight hospital life. This assignment is perfect for those with at least one year of experience in caring for post-op surgical patients, especially in Orthopedics or Gastrointestinal surgeries. The unit also includes capabilities for cardiac and oxygen monitoring, and your skills may be needed in other units as a float.
