Job Description:

Join this excellent opportunity as a travel healthcare professional working in an acute care setting just outside Albany, Georgia. You'll be providing skilled nursing services on a 12-hour day shift, with a commitment of 48 hours weekly over a 13-week contract. This role involves working in a facility that values efficient patient flow, with a patient-to-nurse ratio of approximately 1:5 or 1:6, and supporting experienced staff in fast-paced medical and cardiac units. Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred, but not mandatory, and you'll be cross-trained to float to various units, including acute care and cardiology. Uniforms are in Caribbean Blue, and you'll be monitored on a separate telemetry unit if applicable. Must have a minimum of 2 years in your specialty, current BLS and NIHSS certifications from the AHA, and be comfortable working every other weekend and as needed during holidays. Orientation includes a week of hospital-wide training, followed by two days of unit-specific onboarding. This contract provides a structured yet engaging environment with opportunities to expand your skills while enjoying the area's warm weather and welcoming community.
