Job Description:

Join the surgical team at the Heart Hospital of Austin for a 13-week contract as a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Certified Surgical Technologist. This role involves supporting complex cardiac surgeries like CABG, valve repairs, endovascular procedures, and more, all within a state-of-the-art facility on the 1st floor of the main hospital. You'll be working 10-hour days, typically four days per week, with on-call responsibilities including one weeknight and one weekend per month. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to gain specialized cardiovascular experience, work alongside seasoned professionals, and make a tangible impact during high-stakes surgeries.
