Job Description:

Join our team as a Preoperative Registered Nurse in a busy Level I trauma center, where you'll be instrumental in preparing patients for surgery across a variety of specialties. This role involves engaging in comprehensive preoperative assessments, initiating IV access, and providing patient education—all within an 18-bay preoperative unit designed for both elective and urgent cases. You'll work during 12-hour day shifts, supporting regional anesthesia procedures such as nerve blocks and assisting with moderate sedation. The environment is dynamic, with high-acuity patients requiring your expertise and adaptability. This assignment offers the opportunity to be part of a fast-paced surgical setting that handles complex cases, ensuring safe and efficient patient care every step of the way.
