Job Description:

Join our team as an ICU Registered Nurse for an engaging travel contract in Metairie, LA. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced ICU setting where you'll be responsible for performing lab sticks, EKGs, line starts, and managing advanced equipment such as Alaris IV pumps, Servo ventilators, and GE monitors. You’ll float across ICU units and occasionally to the ED, PACU, or MS/PCU, adapting to varying patient ratios and environments. The shift is a 12-hour day from 07:00 to 19:30, providing a balanced work schedule with four weekends scheduled over a four-week period. With a focus on acute care, you'll handle all necessary certifications including ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIH, and be prepared to care for any isolation patient, including those with COVID-19. This assignment is unique for its versatility and the opportunity to make a direct impact in a high-intensity setting while enjoying the flexibility of floating to different units.
