Job Description:

This contract offers an engaging opportunity for a seasoned PCU nurse to step into a 12-bed medical-surgical unit with a focus on telemetry. You'll be responsible for managing patients with diagnoses such as sickle cell, heart failure, and other acuity levels, utilizing your skills in titrating set-rate drips and monitoring telemetry. The role includes working night shifts with every other weekend and holiday coverage, providing a structured yet busy schedule. Expect to work alongside nurse aides and contribute to a cohesive team, all while enjoying the challenge of a fast-paced hospital environment in Savannah, Georgia. This assignment is perfect for nurses with at least 2 years of hospital experience, including prior travel contracts, who are comfortable with unit-specific protocols and a quick orientation process.
