Job Description:

Join a 13-week travel assignment at Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital, located in the charming city of Rhinelander, WI. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts, providing critical care to patients in a fast-paced ICU setting. As a travel RN, you'll be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 1:2, floating to similar units within the hospital as needed and occasionally to nearby Aspirus locations within a 40-mile radius, including Tomahawk, Howard Young, and Eagle River. Expect to handle diverse cases, including occasional pediatric surgical patients like ENT or ortho procedures. While charting is done in EPIC, prior experience isn’t required—just your 2+ years of ICU expertise and proper certifications (WI RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS). This assignment offers a unique opportunity to experience rural healthcare firsthand, with scheduled floating and low census hours during times of lower patient volume. Please note that floating to similar units and locations will be scheduled in advance, and you may be on call with a minimum callback of two hours. During flu season, adherence to vaccination policies is mandatory.
