Job Description:

Join a fast-paced surgical team as an OR nurse in beautiful Hilo, Hawaii. This role offers the chance to work in a small yet bustling operating suite, where you'll assist with a variety of procedures including general, orthopedic, vascular, ophthalmic, urology, ENT, endoscopy, robotic, obstetrics, and gynecology cases. Your daily tasks will involve circulating cases, aiding with turnover cleaning, transporting patients, and scheduling surgeries. Independence in circulating cases is essential, and familiarity with Meditech and PYXIS equipment will help you hit the ground running. This assignment provides a unique opportunity to be part of a close-knit team, with the flexibility of variable shifts around department needs, including rotating on-call responsibilities. Expect to be scheduled for approximately 36 hours per week over the 13-week contract, with the possibility of extra hours during holidays.
