Job Description:

This float nursing role in the intermediate care unit offers a chance to work across different specialized areas such as IMC, Tele 1 (cardiac), Tele 2 (non-cardiac), and Med/Surg overflow. You'll be managing patients with complex pulmonary, cardiac, and trauma conditions, including ventilated patients, those with chest tubes, and individuals on various cardiac drips requiring titration. Your day-to-day tasks will involve monitoring cardiac rhythms, managing high acuity cases, and responding to rapid response team calls. With a focus on advanced airway management, IV placement, and central line management, this assignment promises a compelling mix of technical skills and patient assessment, all in a setting where your adaptability is key. The role is suited for nurses who enjoy floating between units and thrive on working with diverse patient populations requiring sophisticated care technologies and protocols.
