Job Description:

This travel RN position in Eastern New Mexico is your chance to work on a general Med Surg unit with a focus on post-op ortho and general surgery patients. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts from 7p to 7:30a, with occasional floating to ICU for overflow or step-down patients. The role involves caring for a patient load typically of 1:6 or occasionally 1:7. Expect to utilize Cerner EMR and Mindray Telemetry System as part of your daily routine. This assignment offers a 13-week adventure in Roswell, where you'll be part of a supportive team that rarely requires float or call, but flexibility is appreciated. The dress code is royal blue scrubs, and fingerprinting for all travelers is required due to state regulations. Only candidates with over a year of experience and BLS certification are encouraged to apply, with ACLS preferred.
