Job Description:

Join a surgical services team in Boise as a Registered Nurse specializing in Operating Room (OR) perioperative care. This contract offers the chance to scrub on a wide variety of cases, including pediatric trauma, neuro-spine, DaVinci robotic surgeries, urology, oncology, ENT, GYN, bariatric procedures, and more. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with 12-hour mids shifts, providing crucial support in surgical procedures on both the ground floor and across nearby sites when needed. Your expertise will help keep surgeries running smoothly, often stepping in on call shifts when the department needs extra coverage. This assignment stands out for its diversity of cases and the opportunity to broaden your skills across multiple specialties—all while working in a supportive setting with a charge nurse available 24/7. You’ll experience the rhythm of an active OR that keeps an average of 65 cases per day moving efficiently, all while demonstrating your breadth of surgical experience. A minimum of two years in perioperative nursing with broad case experience is required, along with certifications in BLS.
