Job Description:

This hospital stay offers a full schedule of 12-hour night shifts in the Medical-Surgical unit, focusing on a variety of patient cases such as total joint replacements, fractures, bariatric, urology, and general surgeries, as well as medical diagnoses including CHF, CVA, SOB, and diabetic issues. Your role will involve working closely with RNs, monitor technicians, and nurse aides to deliver essential patient support in a fast-paced environment. The assignment is set in a unit utilizing CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy, with RNs reading strips to confirm proper readings while monitor techs handle strip interpretation. Expect to work every other weekend and holiday, with a floating schedule requiring flexibility. The shift involves participation in a unit-specific orientation and adherence to dress code policies, with travel-specific protocols in place for seamless integration into the team. This role offers an engaging opportunity to sharpen your medical-surgical skills and be a vital part of patient recovery efforts during a 13-week contract.
