Job Description:

Join this busy Emergency Department at a Level IV Trauma Center in West Allis, WI, where you'll experience a stimulating mix of cases—from neonatal emergencies to geriatric crises, including strokes, chest pain, sepsis, and respiratory distress. As a travel RN, you'll be the backbone of the team during 12-hour night shifts, managing patient loads that can range from 100 to 200 daily. This role involves honing your skills in IV placement, cardiac monitoring, medication titration, and advanced emergency procedures, all while collaborating with a dedicated support team that includes CNAs, RTs, hospitalists, and more. The facility appreciates proactive, adaptable nurses who can navigate a fast-paced environment, and orientation includes a brief initial shift alongside experienced preceptors to get you settled.
