Job Description:

This contract opportunity places you in a Labor and Delivery unit where you'll be working 12-hour night shifts. As a registered nurse, you'll support obstetrics, postpartum, and antepartum patients, managing a variety of conditions including pregnancy with hypertension or diabetes. You'll be responsible for titrating medications like Pitocin, Mag, and Procardia, all while adhering to staffing ratios of 1:3 or 1:1 for laboring patients. Expect to handle high patient acuity, participate in a quick but thorough 1-week classroom orientation plus 2-3 shifts on the floor, and be part of a facility recognized for high-quality patient care and excellent patient experience scores.
