Job Description:

This contract role calls for a skilled PACU Registered Nurse ready to dive into the fast-paced environment of a teaching hospital with Level 3 trauma designation. You will be primarily working in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Pre-Op, and Phase 2 settings, managing patient recovery post-surgery and preparing them for discharge. Expect to handle a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio during your 12-hour rotating shifts, with start times that vary throughout the morning. Your expertise in Epic charting and familiarity with advanced certifications like ACLS, BLS, and PALS will help ensure smooth patient transitions and high-quality care. The environment offers a mix of day and night shifts, with the potential to make an impact in a bustling, teaching hospital setting that emphasizes collaboration and clinical excellence.
