Job Description:

Join this rewarding travel contract as a PCU RN in Columbia, Missouri, where you'll be the vital link in caring for a diverse patient population following surgical, medical, and neuro diagnoses. This role offers exposure to a variety of procedures and equipment, including bladder scanners, IV and PCA pumps, Vasoactive drip titration, and airway management with CPAP/BiPAP and trach care. Floating is required, providing a unique chance to work across different units and hone your skills in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You'll be responsible for managing line access, IV insertions, central lines, dialysis fistulas, and vascular devices. Preferred skills include obtaining 12 Lead EKGs, performing sheath removal, and handling cardioversion or defibrillation. The nurse-patient ratio is approximately 1:3, though not guaranteed, emphasizing the importance of efficiency and confidence in your competencies. This assignment is perfect for nurses who thrive on variety and enjoy adapting to new clinical environments in a supportive team atmosphere.
