Job Description:

Join a dedicated medical-surgical and telehealth team at a 457-bed Level 3 Trauma Center in Concord, NC. As an RN in this contract role, you'll manage a diverse patient population with conditions including chronic illnesses, heart failure, COPD, diabetes, wounds, and geriatric care. The shift is a 12-hour night rotation, offering a chance to experience the quieter nighttime hours while providing essential care such as cardiac rhythm interpretation, non-titrating cardiac drips, tube and drain management, IV starts, blood products, and wound dressing changes. You'll collaborate within a supportive team that includes nurse managers, clinical supervisors, and mentors, all using EPIC electronic health records and a variety of department-specific equipment. Floating across facilities within the region is expected, with compensation for travel time during mid-shift movements. This assignment is ideal for an experienced RN comfortable with a 1:4-6 patient ratio during typical hours, increasing slightly during surge times, and willing to work every other weekend with 75% holiday coverage. Nurses new to travel assignments are welcome to apply for this engaging opportunity with a six-week duration and a weekly gross pay of approximately $1,623.
