Job Description:

Join our dynamic team as a PACU Registered Nurse in Springfield, Illinois, where you will play a crucial role in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. This position provides a unique opportunity to engage with patients in their recovery phase after surgery. Your expertise is invaluable in ensuring that patients transition smoothly from anesthesia while maintaining a calm and supportive environment.

Working mid shifts from 10:45 AM to 11:15 PM, you will become an integral part of our acute care hospital's team—a respected Magnet facility renowned for its commitment to excellence in nursing practices. With a daily census of around 60 patients, your usual day will be dynamic, focused on monitoring vital signs, assessing patient conditions, and responding to any changes while collaborating closely with anesthesiologists and surgical teams.

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 5 years of PACU experience who hold a valid Illinois RN license and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
