Job Description:

This CVICU Registered Nurse position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a 10-bed ICU unit specializing in post-open heart recovery. You will provide direct patient care to cardiovascular patients immediately after surgery, managing advanced monitoring tools such as A-lines, balloon pumps, Impella devices, and ventilators. The role involves collaborating with a skilled team, acting as a clinical leader, and guiding less experienced staff. Experience in open heart recovery is essential, and you'll be supported in evaluating and implementing care plans from admission through discharge, with opportunities to care for general medical and surgical patients when needed. This assignment combines technical skill with leadership in a fast-paced ICU setting, all in a supportive environment.
