Job Description:

Join our team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract in Wilmington, North Carolina. This role offers 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a commitment of 48 hours per week. You'll be supporting adult and geriatric patients, managing general med/surg cases, and possibly caring for COVID-19 patients. The assignment includes working with insulin and heparin drips, wound vac dressings, and high-flow oxygen, with occasional short-term BiPAP support. As part of the inclement weather team, you'll be prepared for storm or hurricane response, and may be scheduled for every other weekend and holiday shifts. The position involves working in a unit with a typical census of around 43 patients, utilizing systems like EPIC, PYXIS, and SBAR for documentation and communication. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced nurses, including first-time travelers, to gain diverse clinical exposure in a supportive environment.
