Job Description:

This Med/Surg RN role for night shift at Deaconess Midtown offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a well-equipped unit with a focus on post-surgical, UTI, sepsis, high fall risk, COPD, and CHF patients. Expect to navigate remote telemonitoring, manage chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, straight catheters, Foleys, ostomies, Heparin drips, blood and blood product administration, tracheostomies, and PCA management. Your assessment skills and critical thinking will be front and center, supporting a team led by experienced leadership and CNA support. You'll be responsible for quality patient care during 12-hour night shifts, with some cross-campus floating to nearby facilities in Newburgh and Henderson, KY. Engagement with students and new hires may also be part of your duties, making this a role that offers both clinical challenge and professional growth.

Location: Evansville, Indiana
Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Duration: 13 weeks
Weekly Hours: 36, with options for 48 upon request; guaranteed hours unless during holidays when the unit is closed
