Job Description:

Join a dedicated team of Med/Surg professionals on a 13-week night shift assignment at a reputable hospital in Evansville, IN. This role involves providing patient support during 12-hour night shifts in a 41-bed unit with an emphasis on assessing post-surgical, UTI, sepsis, high fall risk, COPD, and CHF patients. You'll be working with a skilled team that values resilience and critical thinking, with opportunities to precept students and new hires. The assignment offers guaranteed hours, remote tele support, and a chance to experience a vibrant city while honing your skills in a dynamic healthcare setting. Expect to engage in procedures like chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, straight cath/Foleys, and blood administration, all while managing a diverse patient population that keeps your skills sharp.
